bestest ever
you're my new best friend... you just don't know it yet
Watching flies draw geometric patterns in the air and listening to the neighbour's new puppy in a howling war with the rooster, while Baxter sits at my feet and licks my toes.
I've given up the smokes again. It was a brief and sordid affair.
These last few weeks have been a time of reunion. I've been called out of the blue by kids I went to school with, and have caught up with old friends I haven't seen in ten years. It has been weird, and strangely comforting, but mostly weird.
In addition to looking after KK now he's home and in a back brace, I have to look after this too:
2006 rang in unnoticed, overwhelmed by Xmas Part II and KK coming home. His Xmas day spent in hospital was uneventful, except the news of recovery and escape. Now he is free and his 30th b'day was much more celebrated than New Years.
